Spring Inspiration
This spring's collection from Diane von Furstenberg is definitely an inspiration. The main focus was on prints, and a lot of mixing of them. The colors were bold and prominent, and there were a lot of draping going on. Personally I feel that she did her own twist of this new 70s-inspired trend of bold colors and prints. Her collection was more sophisticated, and although there were a lot going on in every outfit there was still a touch of easiness there.
I love the idea of pushing oneself out of your regular dresscode, and try new and a little daring combinations. That's why I think DVF's collection is a good inspiration. I'll probably stick to using one or two pieces with bold prints and colors, and keep the rest of the outfit toned down.
